Japanese Neo Discovery Holo Rares in Near Mint condition consistently see steady demand, with raw copies averaging around $40-$50 depending on platform.
Condition Details
Card appears to have clean borders and good centering with no visible major scratches or whitening on the back edges, though minor surface wear may require closer inspection under direct light.
Grading Recommendation
Yes, grading is recommended if the surface and back edges pass a detailed physical inspection, as a high grade (PSA 9 or 10) significantly increases value for vintage Japanese holos.
Card Description
Dark Pokémon. Length: 1.4m, Weight: 35kg. [Dark][Colorless][Colorless] Crunch: 30 damage. During your opponent's next turn, if the Defending Pokémon takes damage from an attack, apply weakness and resistance for that damage as +20. [Fire][Fire][Colorless] Flamethrower: 50 damage. Discard a Fire Energy card attached to Houndoom. If you cannot, this attack does nothing. Weakness: Psychic (-30). Resistance: None. Retreat Cost: 1.
Notable Features
Classic Neo-era holographic foil pattern with prominent cosmos-like stars in the background. Features the traditional Japanese Neo symbol set design and Dark Pokémon border motif.
Authentication Notes
Standard Japanese vintage print quality, correct font weights, proper copyright markings, and typical Neo holo shimmer indicate a genuine card.
